PROFESSIONALISM ASSESSMENT
This assessment is structured in a skills hierarchy. The answers to the questions add up to the complexity of professional practice: from beginner, competent, proficient to expert. It is a cumulative scale. I.e. every position (read: answer) is the sum of knowledge, skills and attitude of previous and current position. Reflect on "Where are you now?", your current situation and "Where do you want to go?", your ambition.

COMPLEXITY OF CARE ASSESSMENT
Added to the Professionalism assessment for nurses, care givers and care assistants are specific questions about the 'complexity of the care'. Combined, they form the 'Complexity of Care' assessment. The questions address the care

“Firstly, the scan gives a clear picture of the competencies that nurses, not only individually but also as a team have, and what to develop further. Secondly, the scan gives us a good start in developing the different professional job profiles of nurses within Het Groene Hart hospital.”
Wouter SteenwoerdTeam leader of Acute Admissions Department, Internal Medicine and MDL (Stomach, Intestine and Liver) Department at Het Groene Hart hospital
“Mastering nurses and myself I previously had little a clue what was needed for the development of the team. These were all confirmed in the result of the professionalism scan. That feels good, a kind of objectification which makes it easier for discussion in the team. It becomes clear who is who, and who can help the team. Additionally, Freda exceeded my expectations with many learning materials (digitally) offered. During HKZ accredential feedback professionalism scan was named as one of the four strengths. We are very proud of it!”
